Web Design

Everyone Needs A Website!

Ok, maybe not everyone – your dog does not need a website. 20 years ago, a business card was all someone needed to be taken seriously, but that was 20 years ago. If you have a business, are looking for work, or want to get yourself out there, a website is the way to go. They’ve gotten cheaper, easier to manage, and faster to set up. Your excuses are invalid.

Reach out to me, and I’d love to walk you through the process. Even if you decide to go with another company, or do it yourself, I’d love to help educate you on the pitfalls that I’ve experienced, as well as give you tips for success.

Timeline
Websites take time to build, but fortunately I have been building and managing sites for quite some time. For the average site, I can go from the initial designs and plans to a fully-functional site in around 1-2 weeks- depending on the size and complexity of the site.

Types/Ideas
The sky is the limit when it comes to what type of website you want, and is best for you. There are content-managed sites (CMS) like WordPress and Joomla where you can edit them with no coding needed, there are static sites that require no maintenance, blogs, eCommerce, news-fed sites, and more.

Cost
Websites are like cars… You can pay for a bare bones model, or you can go all out and get a million-dollar supercar. Well, I don’t do million-dollar websites. The average for basic websites by me are $1000 – $4000. Of course, the price is determined by the size of the site, the complexity, and how quickly you need it developed and launched.
